Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Last updated April 10, 2026

Your Right to Opt-Out

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), may give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and to limit the use of certain sensitive personal information. Neuroscale Inc. ("Neuroscale," "we," "us," or "our") operates Arbi, an AI-powered recruiting platform that helps organizations source, screen, and engage candidates.

This page explains how California consumers can exercise the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information in connection with Arbi and related services, where applicable. Nothing on this page limits other privacy rights you may have under applicable law.

What We Sell or Share

Under the CCPA, "selling" personal information can include disclosing it to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration, and "sharing" can include disclosing it for cross-context behavioral advertising, subject to statutory exceptions.

In operating Arbi, we may process candidate profiles, application materials, communications metadata, and recruiter account data to deliver AI-assisted sourcing, automated screening, outreach, and analytics for our business customers. Where we disclose personal information to service providers, subprocessors, or integration partners strictly to provide or improve those services—and not for their independent use—we generally do not treat that as a "sale" under the CCPA. If we engage in activities that constitute a sale or sharing of personal information as defined by the CCPA, we will honor valid opt-out requests as described below and in our Privacy Policy.

Categories of Information

Depending on how you interact with Arbi, we may collect categories of personal information such as:

  • Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, online identifiers, and similar contact details for candidates and recruiters.
  • Professional and employment information — résumés, CVs, work history, skills, education, certifications, and job preferences used for matching and AI-assisted evaluation.
  • Internet or network activity — device, log, and usage data relating to the Arbi platform and connected integrations.
  • Inferences — outputs from AI screening, ranking, or recommendation features when used as part of recruitment workflows (subject to our agreements and product configuration).
  • Audio, electronic, or similar information — where you choose to submit assessments, recordings, or files as part of the hiring process.

The specific data processed depends on what recruiters upload, what candidates submit, and which Arbi features (e.g., sourcing, AI screening, automated outreach) are enabled.

How to Submit a Request

You may submit an opt-out or related privacy request using either of the following methods:

  • Email: [email protected] with the subject line "California Opt-Out Request" and a brief description of your request.
  • Web form: Use the privacy or data rights request form we provide on our website or within Arbi (where available), selecting the option that corresponds to your request.

Please include information that helps us locate your records (for example, the email address you used when applying or the organization name if you are a recruiter user). We may need to follow up to verify your identity before processing your request.

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we verify requests before acting on them. The steps may vary based on the sensitivity of the data and the type of request. We may ask you to confirm information you have previously provided, respond from an email address on file, or complete additional verification where permitted by law.

If we cannot verify your identity or authority, we may deny the request to the extent allowed by the CCPA and will explain our decision where required.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf under the CCPA. If you use an agent, we may require written permission signed by you and may still need to verify your identity directly with you, unless you have provided the agent with power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4000–4465.

Authorized agents should contact us at [email protected] and include proof of the consumer's written authorization.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by law, we will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level or quality of service solely because you exercised a privacy right.

In the recruiting context, exercising opt-out or other rights does not guarantee a particular employment outcome; it only affects how we process personal information as required by law.
